La performance joue avec les genres grammaticaux en français en utilisant l’espace créé entre le texte lu et le texte écrit projeté sur un écran derrière moi. Par exemple, le texte qui est lu pendant la projection ci-contre est “C’est l’histoire d’une garcon qui se découvre une pouvoir d’amour”. Au fur et à mesure de l’histoire, les procédés de genre evoluent et le texte passe au neutre.
La performance raconte une histoire d’amour entre une femme miroir qui a des pouvoirs d’amour et un corps pieuvre qui tentacule. Ensemble, iel fonde un récif familial.

A love story in voice, image and neutral between a mirror-woman and an octopus body.

The performance plays with grammatical genders(genres) in French by using the space created between the spoken text and the written text projected on a screen behind me.
As the story unfolds, the gendering processes evolve and the text becomes in neutral gender (A gender created by the linguist Alpheratz to give an alternative in French to Masculine and feminine grammatical genders.)
The performance tells a love story between a mirror woman who has powers of love and a tentacle-like octopus body. Together, they founds a family reef.
